Meeting Officer Roberson

Hey its Luke back with another post! Today was a great day for my project. I got to meet Officer Roberson and talk about how to be a Police Officer when i grow up. He told me the steps of how to become one and it is a long processes. First you must sign up and then take an obstacle course on things that might happen on the job. After that you must go and do your push-ups and your sit-ups, then you run a mile and a half and all of this is timed. Then you will have to take a written test and you have to make at least a 75% on it.  Then you take a lie detector test to see if your honest. After that you have an interview of what you would do on the job if a certain scenario were to happen. After you have passed all of this you will got to go to the academy were you learn to be a cop. Then you have a three month process with a trainer then you finally are on your own. It is a long but worth it process to do. I also learned 10 new codes after talking to Officer Roberson. They are :

10-21: telephone
10-22: disregard last assignment
10-23: stand by
10-24: request car-to-car transmit
10-25: do you have contact with:
10-26: clear
10-27: D.D.L report
10-28: registration report
10-29: check for wants
10-30: doesn't conform to regulations
